MSL Seattle catcher David Vázquez had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, 9-0. Rod Palmer got the win, improving to 3-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Picking up his 1st save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Sancho Barrios.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Vázquez hit a run-scoring double off Carlos Camacho. It propelled the Rocketeers into the lead, 1-0.

Vázquez told a MSL Seattle Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.

The 4th-place Rocketeers bumped their record to 10-7.
