A good performance from third baseman Jyotibhasin Chittoor helped the MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeat the MSL Hollywood Shredders, 4-3. Chittoor went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks for the Voodoo. At 8-10, the Voodoo claim 8th place in the PL MSL.

MSL New Orleans took the lead, 4-3, on Gregory Gálvez's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off MSL Hollywood pitcher Bart Blenkiron in the bottom of the seventh.

Chittoor called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
