Rainbow Mermaids Deal Rocketeers 7-0 Loss
MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Carlos González kept the MSL Seattle Rocketeers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-0 win. MSL Northern Virginia raised its record to 13-5 with the win.

The Rainbow Mermaids got an important contribution from center fielder Kenshin Higashi, who in the top of the second hit a full count fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 3-0.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Higashi told the MSL Northern Virginia Herald.
