The MSL New Orleans Voodoo got a magnificent performance from pitcher Oliver de Weever, who muffled the MSL Pittsburgh offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Voodoo win at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. German Lyadov closed the game out for MSL New Orleans, earning his 9th save. The second-place Voodoo have a record of 13-7.

The famously hardworking de Weever handled the Kingfishers all day, notching 9 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing 2 hits. de Weever, who is tied for 8th in the PMSL with a 1.17 WHIP, goes to 4-0 on the year with 43 strikeouts.
