MSL Memphis Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Starting pitcher Barend Veeneman gave the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 3-2, at MSL Memphis Ballpark. The 5th-place Voodoo now sit at 10-10.

Johnny Morrison was the walk-off hero for MSL Memphis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mockingbirds left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said MSL Memphis skipper Royce Rolls.
