White Walkers Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
MSL Northern Virginia shortstop Terence Drenth had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Drenth went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as MSL Buffalo beat the Rainbow Mermaids, 5-4. With the win, MSL Buffalo has a record of 11-9. MSL Northern Virginia falls to 14-6.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Paco García was at the plate when MSL Buffalo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the White Walkers to go in front, 5-4.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said García.
