Rainbow Mermaids Suffer 6-2 Loss to Shredders
The MSL Hollywood Shredders beat the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 6-2, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. MSL Hollywood left fielder Mario López had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. MSL Hollywood pitcher Henry Chalcott got the win. He's now 1-0. Carlos González was tagged with the loss. MSL Hollywood is now 12-9.

López had a crucial hit for MSL Hollywood with two out in the bottom of the fourth. With MSL Hollywood trailing 1-0, López hit a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 4-1.

"It was a solid team effort," said López after the game.
