Big Day by Kemp Sparks 9-3 MSL Northern Virginia Win
The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids defeated the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 9-3, in part because of second baseman Horace Kemp. Kemp went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Rainbow Mermaids. MSL Northern Virginia now has a record of 15-6 with the win.

In the top of the second inning, the Rainbow Mermaids grabbed the lead when Francisco Medina rapped a two-out home run. MSL Northern Virginia was trailing 1-0, when Medina hit a 2-run home run off Gabriel Delgado to put his team in front, 2-1.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said MSL Buffalo manager Amadeo Nardello.
