Extra-Inning Win by White Walkers Over Voodoo
|
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo and MSL Buffalo White Walkers provided some drama for the home crowd.
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers picked up a win at MSL New Orleans Ballpark, knocking off the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 4-3, in 14 innings. On the mound for MSL Buffalo was left-hander Geoffrey Bannon. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The White Walkers improved their record to 11-11 with the win over MSL New Orleans.
MSL Buffalo used a timely hit from Nelson Evans to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.
"Our team found a way to get it done," said Evans.
