Rainbow Mermaids Rally to Win, 8-7
Donnie Harris did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the MSL New Orleans Voodoo from losing the game, 8-7, to the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids in 11 innings at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. Harris hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. MSL Northern Virginia reliever Tomoyuki Sasaki was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Juan Picardo. MSL New Orleans has now lost 4 straight.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when MSL Northern Virginia center fielder Pedro Rosa, facing Juan Picardo, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rainbow Mermaids the 8-7 win.

Rosa told a MSL Northern Virginia Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
