The MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Boston Patriots, 6-2. Doing his part was left fielder David Forest, who went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. MSL New Orleans is now 12-11.

William Kirby had a big 3-run home run for the Voodoo in the bottom of the third inning. With MSL New Orleans leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a curveball from 17-year old left-handed pitcher Malcolm Anderton and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Voodoo ahead, 5-0.

MSL New Orleans manager Bill Richmond was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
