Grey Wolves Lose Versus MSL New Orleans, 9-0
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo thumped the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 9-0, at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. Luis Cruz was a big reason his team got the win. Cruz was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. William Hinkle picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-0. He struck out 7 in 5 innings. Anthony Carena recorded the save, his 1st.

In the bottom of the second, MSL New Orleans catcher Ian Clews whacked a fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Voodoo in front, 2-0.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Clews. "Just do my job."

The loss makes MSL Vancouver 11-13.
