MSL Buffalo Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.
Starting pitcher Diego Trevino took care of business, helping the MSL Buffalo White Walkers stifle the MSL Toronto Thunder, 4-2. Javier Mejía, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.
MSL Buffalo got a clutch hit from Albert Leach. The center fielder socked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
"Exhilarating win," said Leach.
After today's action, MSL Buffalo sits at 14-11; MSL Toronto slips to 7-18.
