Grey Wolves Claw Out 1-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring game between the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves and the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, pitcher José Silva was masterful on the mound. The MSL Vancouver right-hander spearheaded his team's 1-0 win. Silva picked up the win for MSL Vancouver, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. Roberto Alfaro collected save number 3.
MSL Vancouver relied on the hitting of Wen-huan Bi to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Grey Wolves on top, 1-0. For the game, Bi had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said MSL Buffalo manager Amadeo Nardello.
