Rainbow Mermaids Beaten, 5-3, by Blue Demons
|
The MSL Mexico City Blue Demons picked up a win at MSL Blue Demon Ballpark, dropping the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 5-3. Carlos Camacho, who is tied for 7th in the PMSL in wins with 3, was the difference-maker. Camacho got the win, improving to 3-4. He gave up 6 hits and walked 6 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Getting the save was Norberto Chapa, his 3rd.
Teuk-chin Wi dealt the Rainbow Mermaids a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and MSL Mexico City leading 3-2, Wi hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.
"This was a good win," said Wi.
MSL Mexico City, now 12-14, holds down 7th place in the PL MSL.
