Patriots Get Better of Shredders, 3-0
|
In a low-scoring game between the MSL Boston Patriots and the MSL Hollywood Shredders, pitcher Kevin Gray was masterful on the mound. The MSL Boston right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-0 win. The winner was Gray. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Sung-heun Kim. With the victory, the Patriots record stands at 18-8.
Omar Enebrad, who is tied for 2nd in the PMSL in stolen bases with 3, took MSL Hollywood hurler Sung-heun Kim deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Patriots on top, 2-0. In all, Enebrad had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Gray.
