MSL Seattle second baseman Hsin-ta Sun had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Sun went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, even as MSL Baltimore beat the Rocketeers, 7-4. The first-place Bullets are 18-8.
Giribhu Samderiya, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL in triples with 1, aided the MSL Baltimore cause with a 2-run double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Samderiya expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
