Rainbow Mermaids Tack 7-2 Loss on Mockingbirds
Kenshin Higashi led MSL Northern Virginia to a win over MSL Memphis. The final score was 7-2. The center fielder collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. MSL Northern Virginia reliever Guy Pritchard was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-1. Andrés Pérez took the loss for MSL Memphis. The Rainbow Mermaids bumped their record to 17-10 with this win.

José Ventura delivered a big hit for MSL Northern Virginia. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
