The MSL Colorado Billy Goats welcomed the MSL Toronto Thunder to an afternoon game at MSL Colorado Ballpark.
MSL Colorado Billy Goats starter Román Bravo pitched effectively against the MSL Toronto Thunder at MSL Colorado Ballpark. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-2 win. Earning his 9th save of the year was Ding-bong Ren.
Had Hyeok Yang not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Yang hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Billy Goats.
In comments to the MSL Colorado Bulletin, Yang insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
The Billy Goats, now 12-15, know that wins in July count the same as wins in September.
