White Walkers Beat Rainbow Mermaids in 10

MSL Buffalo and MSL Northern Virginia scratched and clawed until someone claimed the prize.
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers rode a solid performance from 16-year-old starting pitcher Diego Trevino to a win, beating the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 2-1, at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. The 'W' lifts MSL Buffalo's record to 15-13.
The White Walkers liked what they saw from Trevino. The 16-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Rainbow Mermaids to no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings, and striking out 4.
"Diego's a gamer," said MSL Buffalo manager Emmett Amavizca. "Glad he's on our side."
