Thanks in large part to catcher Carlos Morales, the MSL Hollywood Shredders beat the MSL Toledo Stingers, 10-5. Morales was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. By defeating MSL Toledo, the third-place Shredders improved to 16-12.

The Shredders got an important contribution from second baseman Orlando Rodríguez, who in the bottom of the third hit a forkball to right-center for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 9-0.

"I felt good up there," said Morales. "I saw the ball well."
