Blue Demons Get Close Win Over White Walkers, 3-2
|
MSL Mexico City Blue Demons starter Dong-joo Im pitched a strong game against the MSL Buffalo White Walkers at MSL Blue Demon Ballpark, leading the Blue Demons to victory, 3-2. Steve Moore got the save, the 7th for him this season. MSL Mexico City occupies 7th place in the PL MSL at 14-16.
A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the sixth inning when the Blue Demons sent teenager James Hunt to the plate against White Walkers hurler Ernesto Arroyo. With runners on 1st and 2nd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a double off a full count fastball to score 2.
"Every loss stings," said MSL Buffalo manager Emmett Amavizca. "This one is no exception."
