Rainbow Mermaids Win Thriller, 3-2
The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids stopped the MSL Colorado Billy Goats, 3-2, in 10 innings at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. The Rainbow Mermaids got a big game from Diego Báez, who went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Sean Littrell in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Glen Styles took the loss. The second-place Rainbow Mermaids are 19-11.

The Rainbow Mermaids got a clutch hit from center fielder Kenshin Higashi. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rainbow Mermaids.
