Rainbow Mermaids Even Record with 6-1 Victory
|
The MSL Toledo Stingers had to reckon with MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids hurler Neil Snow. Snow, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2059 draft, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Rainbow Mermaids triumph. The 5th-place Rainbow Mermaids are now 15-15, the Stingers 23-7.
MSL Northern Virginia used the hitting of Cale Hunter to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rainbow Mermaids on top, 3-0. For the game, Hunter had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Snow told the MSL Northern Virginia Herald.
