Voodoo Win, Kirby gets 6 RBI
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo beat the MSL Buffalo White Walkers by a score of 10-4. MSL New Orleans left fielder William Kirby deserved the lion's share of the credit. Kirby went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for the Voodoo. Wilfred Pope, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 8-2. With the win over MSL Buffalo, the Voodoo improved to 20-12.

With MSL New Orleans leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Kirby came up to bat against MSL Buffalo pitcher Ernesto Arroyo. Kirby hit a curveball to left for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Voodoo on top, 5-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Kirby said.
