Rocketeers Lose By a Run at MSL Las Vegas
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos and MSL Seattle Rocketeers.

MSL Las Vegas got a first-rate effort from pitcher Dan Brown, who frustrated MSL Seattle hitters en route to a 2-1 Flamingos triumph at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark. Brown, the winner, moves to 1-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. Craig Jacobs earned the save, his 3rd.

Frank Wrayford had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for MSL Las Vegas. He came through with a run-scoring single to put MSL Las Vegas in front, 2-0.

"Both teams played hard," said MSL Las Vegas manager Ernest Orr.

With the win over MSL Seattle, the Flamingos improved to 18-14.
