The MSL Colorado Billy Goats banked on José Valdéz and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the MSL Pittsburgh hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Billy Goats. With the win, MSL Colorado goes to 17-16, while the Kingfishers fall to 15-18.
In the bottom of the first inning, the Billy Goats grabbed the lead when Rubén Morales rapped a two-out home run. MSL Colorado was trailing 1-0, when Morales hit a 2-run home run off Alfredo Ramos to put his team in front, 2-1.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped MSL Pittsburgh manager Ricky Miller. "Obviously."
