MSL Boston pitcher Cai-fei Teng did his part in helping his team defeat the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Their 23-10 record puts the Patriots first in the PL MSL.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Mashashi Matsuoka came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing MSL Mexico City pitcher Armando Pérez, he hit a 0-1 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting MSL Boston on top, 3-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Teng said after the game.
