Rocketeers Topple White Walkers, 7-4
|
Anthon de Moor was a major factor in the 7-4 MSL Seattle win over MSL Buffalo. The Rocketeers left fielder was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was 17-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Arroyo. He tossed 113 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. Wes Purss finished the game for MSL Seattle and earned his 2nd save.
David Vázquez had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the first for MSL Seattle. With the bases loaded and the Rocketeers leading 1-0, he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez.
