MSL Hollywood pitcher Terry Woods had a large part in his team subduing the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 7-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. MSL Hollywood is 8th in the PL MSL with a record of 13-20.

Landon Parks, who is tied for 9th in the PMSL in triples with 1, took MSL Northern Virginia hurler Marcos Rodríguez deep in the top of the second. His 3-run home run put the Shredders on top, 3-0. In all, Parks had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Woods.
