MSL Ft. Worth Picks Up Another L
|
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the MSL Baltimore Bullets and MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen.
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen had to reckon with MSL Baltimore Bullets hurler Román Ramos. Ramos overwhelmed the opposition in the 9-0 Bullets triumph. Ramos, now 3-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no runs.
Julián Bernard, who is tied for 9th in the PMSL in triples with 1, chipped in a run-scoring single for MSL Baltimore in the bottom of the first. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
Bernard told a MSL Baltimore Gazette reporter he was "pleased as punch" with the win.
