Rocketeers Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers snuck past the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 3-2, in 10 innings. MSL Seattle pitcher Take Markus, in particular, had a standout performance. Brian Barry earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. With the win over MSL Pittsburgh, the Rocketeers improved to 13-22.
Anthon de Moor, who is tied for 8th in the PMSL in bases on balls with 19, had a direct impact on the outcome. de Moor contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put MSL Seattle up, 3-2.
"I thought Take threw the ball well across the board," said MSL Seattle manager Pedro Villegas.
