Patriots Earn Late 4-3 Win
MSL Northern Virginia got a terrific performance from pitcher Helmer Carlsson, but it wasn't enough to beat the MSL Boston Patriots. MSL Boston won the MSL Boston Ballpark contest, 4-3. Carlsson threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The winning continues for MSL Boston, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.

MSL Boston took the lead, 4-2, on Vladya Rybnik's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off MSL Northern Virginia pitcher Tomoyuki Sasaki in the bottom of the eighth.

"We did a lot of things right," said Rybnik.
