5 Straight Wins for Flamingos
|
MSL Las Vegas starter Dan Brown pitched well against the MSL Buffalo White Walkers at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-1, in 12 innings. Ángelo Torres finished the game for MSL Las Vegas and earned his 1st save. The win puts MSL Las Vegas at 21-14 this season.
MSL Las Vegas used the timely hitting of José Rosales to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Flamingos on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
Brown told the MSL Las Vegas Chronicle: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
