Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Patriots
MSL Boston starter Cai-fei Teng pitched well against the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids at MSL Boston Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. MSL Boston reliever Malcolm Anderton got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Michael Elkins was tagged with the loss. The win gives MSL Boston a season record of 26-10.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for MSL Boston. That's when Manny Gómez, who is tied for 3rd in the PMSL in triples with 2, hit a 2-run home run off Michael Elkins to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"This wasn't a good win," said Gómez. "It was a great win."
