MSL Las Vegas Roughed Up By White Walkers
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers beat the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos, 9-0, at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. The White Walkers got a fine performance from right fielder Gerald Jones, who belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The 6th-place White Walkers now have a win-loss record of 17-19.
With MSL Buffalo leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Jones hit a slider from José García for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the White Walkers ahead, 6-0.
Said losing manager Ernest Orr: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
