Rocketeers Suffer 9-5 Home Defeat
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo powered past the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 9-5, at MSL Seattle Ballpark. Luis Cruz slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. Juan Picardo picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Valentín Buitrugo was tagged with the loss. MSL New Orleans has run its win streak to 4 straight.

With MSL New Orleans leading 5-3 in the top of the sixth, Cruz hit a slider from Sancho Barrios for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Voodoo ahead, 7-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Cruz.
