Voodoo Pick Up 2-0 Win Over MSL Pittsburgh
|
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo got a stellar performance from pitcher Logan Mashiter, who handcuffed the MSL Pittsburgh offense en route to a win, 2-0, at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. The save went to Hua-ding Zhào, his 5th this season. The Voodoo go to 18-19, putting them 6th in the PL MSL.
MSL New Orleans used the clutch hitting of Johnny McJannett to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Voodoo the lead, 2-0. For the game, McJannett had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," McJannett told the MSL New Orleans Chronicle.
