The MSL Buffalo White Walkers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jake Haynes into a win. Instead, the MSL Boston Patriots prevailed, 4-2. Haynes threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The win was credited to 19-year old right-handed pitcher Lawrence Wood in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Augusto Loen took the loss. The 5th-place Patriots have won 5 straight games.

Evan Hide chipped in for MSL Boston, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4.
