Lighthouse Hand MSL Northern Virginia 7-3 Loss
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse topped the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 7-3, with shortstop Brandon Sosa playing a big role. Sosa was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Lighthouse in the win. Shripati Shrisha, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL with a 2.84 ERA, earned the save for MSL Long Island. The Lighthouse improved their record to 14-24 with the win over MSL Northern Virginia.

One pivotal at-bat came with two out in the top of the fifth. With the bases loaded and MSL Northern Virginia trailing 4-1, Salvador Rosas needed to bear down against Terence Drenth. Rosas won the battle, as Drenth popped out and the Lighthouse went on to win.
