Ramos Helps Thunder Beat Rainbow Mermaids, 11-4
Gerardo Ramos was a major factor in the 11-4 MSL Toronto win over MSL Northern Virginia. The Thunder first baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Nicolaas van Hees was the winner. He's now 3-6. The loser was 16-year old left-handed pitcher Javier Flores. The Thunder have now won 5 straight.

Second Baseman Tze-meng Fen made an impact for MSL Toronto, when he swatted a 2-run double off Javier Flores in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Fen was 2-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"This game is going to humble you at times and you've got to man up and deal with it," said MSL Northern Virginia manager Donald White.
