The timely hitting of Iwane Tanaka helped the MSL Boston Patriots take down the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 6-3, in 10 innings. Tanaka went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Patriots. MSL Seattle is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 9 games.

Tanaka had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a full count fastball from Orlando Morales, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Patriots a 6-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Tanaka.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said MSL Seattle manager Eric Harvey.
