MSL Northern Virginia Breezes to 14-1 Win
The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids beat the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen by a score of 14-1. MSL Northern Virginia designated hitter Victorino Ganchas deserved the lion's share of the credit. Ganchas was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Rainbow Mermaids. The win was credited to Mikko Salmi in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jean-Jacques Grimaud took the loss. The second-place Rainbow Mermaids are 24-17.

In the first inning, Ganchas had a 3-run home run for MSL Northern Virginia. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Rainbow Mermaids on top, 6-0.
