MSL Buffalo and MSL Toronto slugged it out for in 11 innings. Diego Trevino, in particular, was outstanding. The MSL Buffalo right-hander helped his team knock off the Thunder, 2-0. MSL Buffalo reliever Scott Park picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Hirokichi Kato absorbed the loss. The slumping Thunder have dropped 7 in a row.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for MSL Buffalo. That's when Manny Valdés, who is rated as the 8th best prospect by BNN, hit a 2-run home run off Hirokichi Kato to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"This game had its share of tense moments," Valdés said, postgame.
