Terry Campbell pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The MSL Colorado Billy Goats, despite Campbell's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds at MSL Colorado Ballpark. The winning pitcher was Andrés Pérez. He's now 4-6. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Mockingbirds. MSL Memphis, at 18-23, sits in 8th place in the PL MSL.
Narciso Fragata, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL in RBI with 23, had a direct impact on the outcome. Fragata contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put MSL Memphis up, 2-0.
"The vibe's good," said MSL Memphis manager Royce Rolls. "We've got to keep it going."
