Voodoo 7-4 Victors Over MSL Seattle

MSL New Orleans and MSL Seattle duked it out and the Voodoo came out victorious.
Behind the hitting of Juan García, the MSL New Orleans Voodoo stopped the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 7-4. García was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Voodoo. MSL New Orleans is 23-19 and MSL Seattle, with the loss, 15-27.
MSL New Orleans used the timely hitting of Deepthi Lavanya to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Voodoo on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
MSL New Orleans manager Bill Richmond was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
