Thunder Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
|
Ramón Suárez, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL with a 1.18 WHIP, was locked in. The left-hander led the MSL Toronto Thunder to a 5-4 win against the MSL Colorado Billy Goats at MSL Colorado Ballpark. Hirokichi Kato notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-3. The Thunder saw their win-loss record go to 21-21. At the same time, the Billy Goats fell to 22-20.
MSL Toronto took the lead, 5-4, on Juan González's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off MSL Colorado pitcher Glen Styles in the top of the ninth.
"Enjoyed this one," González told the MSL Toronto Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
