In a low-scoring contest between the MSL Hollywood Shredders and the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, Clint Ellis was the X factor. The MSL Hollywood left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Ellis got the win, improving to 9-2. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. Bob Morton earned the save for MSL Hollywood.

MSL Hollywood went up, 2-0, on Jesús Durán's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Durán hit in the bottom of the seventh, left MSL New Orleans pitcher Wilfred Pope shaking his head.

"Runs were at a premium," said MSL Hollywood manager Ricardo López.

MSL Hollywood raised its record to 25-18 with the win.
