White Walkers Claim Late Win
|
MSL Buffalo pitcher Todd Rivera did his part in helping his team defeat the MSL Boston Patriots, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Ernesto Arroyo earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 3-5. Javier Mejía picked up the save, his 3rd.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when third baseman Lynwood Carr, who leads the PMSL in hits with 60, hit a double. The White Walkers went on to win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Carr.
MSL Buffalo is now 19-24.
