Shredders Mow Down Voodoo, 10-4
The MSL Hollywood Shredders defeated the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 10-4, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. Orlando Rodríguez produced 1 single and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Ellerd Zuydam, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 4.1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. At 28-16, the Shredders have a slim two-game lead in the PL MSL.

The Shredders got an important contribution from catcher Carlos Morales, who in the bottom of the second hit a fastball to right for a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 4-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Morales told the MSL Hollywood Citizen.
