The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids beat the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 6-3, in 10 innings at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. Joe Scott, in particular, was impressive. He went 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The losing streak for MSL Seattle has now reached 4 games.
MSL Northern Virginia got a clutch hit from Prabha Ramanand. The first baseman launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
