Patriots Sink White Walkers, 6-2

The MSL Boston Patriots besoiled an otherwise fine performance by MSL Buffalo shortstop Pyeong-min Pak by beating the White Walkers, 6-2, at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Pak was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. MSL Boston reliever Monty Weaver was the winner. His record is now 6-0. Gerardo Montoya took the loss. The first-place Patriots have a one-game lead in their division.
MSL Boston used the clutch hitting of Govaart Antonissen to snag the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Patriots ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"This was a nice win for us," said Antonissen. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
