The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen withstood an impressive performance by MSL Las Vegas left fielder Pedro Rey to defeat the Flamingos, 5-4, at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. Rey went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win went to Nukie Barerra in relief, making him now 1-1. Marcos Cardova took the loss for MSL Las Vegas. Kyle Warren got credit for the save for MSL Ft. Worth. It was his 8th of the year.

José Juárez chipped in for MSL Ft. Worth, stroking a crucial 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the catcher went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said MSL Las Vegas manager Ernest Orr.

The 9th-place Cattlemen are 16-29.
