The MSL New Orleans Voodoo picked up a win at MSL Hollywood Ballpark, downing the MSL Hollywood Shredders, 5-3. On the mound for MSL New Orleans was right-hander Yuan Chia, who played a pivotal role in the win. German Lyadov closed it out for MSL New Orleans, earning his 5th save. The Voodoo now own a record of 19-26.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Stefan Lundgren? The 18-year old shortstop Lundgren stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put MSL New Orleans up, 5-2. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.
